A deep search for a holistic approach that nurtures the love for learning in a young child is what led Preeti Misra, the founder of Rainbow Bridge, to Anthroposophy – a philosophy based on the teachings of Rudolf Steiner – where she found answers not only on education, but was a guiding light to a deeper understanding of the human being.

In 2011, Preeti along with her sister Vineeta Bulusu founded Rainbow Bridge, a Waldorf early child care center in Belapur, Navi Mumbai. Over the years through its kindergarten, daycare, parenting programs and the Little Hands, the handwork club, it kindled hope and love in the hearts of children and parents alike. Growing very organically, the work expanded with more hands and hearts joining the impulse.

Along this journey was Sucheta Garud, a constant supporter of Rainbow Bridge, with whom the work with the educators’ community began and to date continues to grow deeper at many levels. From getting the Waldorf kindergarten educators community in Maharashtra together to initiating the Waldorf early childhood training course in Navi Mumbai which is now a certified course, their work, their team and the overall intent is earnestly serving and working in the early childhood education sector.

The highly revered RB Dolls by Rainbow Bridge gave birth to Aatman Toys – Labour of Love, in 2019. Since then it has spread its wings as an eco initiative that consciously handcrafts dolls, toys and other related products supporting the growing needs of a young child in a meaningful and authentic way.

The work with educators, parents and professionals working with young children is diversifying through various thoughtfully-designed intensive programs, workshops, seminars and conferences.
